Last race of 2016 competition in the Netherlands

Today was the last race in the Motogymkhana championship of the Netherlands. Eight rounds we had, eight fantastic days, some with rain, some with sun shine, but all with loads of fun.
Kristian showed up on a Zero electric bike. It was fun to see and hear (or rather, not hear), but he didn't win today. Bob set a very fast time in his first heat, 1:48, on dry tarmac, and when it started to rain soon after, we thought that was it. A very successful Championship

What a lovely day we've had at the European Championship! Riders from seven countries competed at the site of Blom Slipcontrol in Etten-Leur. On Saturday we had beautiful weather, on Sunday it started out ok, overcast and high temperature, but after some 20 riders sudden heavy showers changed the race completely. Some riders had a serious disadvantage because of this, most of them made up for that in the second heat.

Top 3 overall:

1) Kristian Eekhof (NL) - 2:00.87

2) Bart Hoste (BE) - 2:01.15

3) Jiří Schovanec (CZ) - 2:01.61
